Kanye West did an interview with L.A.’s Power 106 to beam off his regular intentions of world domination, nothing out of the ordinary there, but host Big Boy was able to hold his attention enough to get some juicy details about his upcoming wedding to Kim Kardashian.
As for why his wedding proposal occurred at a baseball stadium, the rapper, err um “creative genius” as he calls himself had very little reason for why he chose the venue other than “I just thought it would be dope.” He says the event was a project for his creative agency DONDA, named after his late mother
“I was nervous a little bit, about everything happening exactly on cue,” he said, adding that he argued specifics with some of the field’s staff.
Kanye says he had 3 engagement rings commissioned but only one made it on her finger by Lorraine Schwartz. The ring was only 4 hours old by the time Kim put it on.
When it comes to the wedding, “I only got two words in my mind, and that’s fighter jets,” a wish he just may get since Kim is leaving all of the wedding planning up to him.
“It’s going to be sometime next summer,” West, 36, said of the upcoming wedding.
An engagement of such magnitude will be tough to top when it comes to a wedding but Kanye does have a message to the men out there:
“I got to apologize to the race of males for turning up so much.”
