Chris Brown who just finished his longest stint in prison, a total of 36 hours, returned to Los Angeles and rekindled the flame with on again off again girlfriend Karrueche Tran. The Fine China singer posted a picture on Instagram locking lips with the 25 year old model with the caption “Always & Forever“.
A source close to the star says his weekend arrest attacking a man in DC was a wake up call and they have learned to put their past disagreements behind them.
“Make no mistake, Chris needs her and she wants to be there for him,” the source reveals. “She will be with him to make sure he’s cool. With these circumstances, they’re both putting old issues behind them.”
“At the end of the day, they had a misunderstanding but that’s not an issue now that he’s in this situation,” the source adds.
“She wants to be there for him, to be a listening ear, to be a companion,” the source says. “She just wants to be there for him, with no expectations and nothing in return. It’s about him. She has nothing to gain.”
Over the weekend Tran showed she was upset about Brown being in jail and even though they broke up right before the incident she still defended him on Twitter.
“What is wrong with some of y’all? Did y’all parents not love y’all enough? Y’all gotta quit w/this negative shit 24 f**king 7,” she tweeted.
Brown’s charge was lowered to a misdemeanor but the Los Angeles County Probation Department has launched in investigation which could result in more than 4 years in prison still. At least he was able to make it back to L.A. and have his girl waiting for him.
